Fish Status

BLUEGILL

Poor

The electrofishing survey indicated that Bluegill growth is poor, as very few individuals exceeded 6 inches in length. Bluegill growth is likely hampered by the presence of Gizzard Shad in the lake.

CHANNEL CATFISH

Fair

Channel Catfish are present in the lake. One 18-inch catfish was captured during the 2023 electrofishing survey.

LARGEMOUTH BASS

Very Good

The 2023 electrofishing survey yielded good numbers of bass across multiple size groups. The largest bass collected was over 20 inches in length.
