The redear sunfish population is composed of fish up to 11 inches in length and in good body condition.

Location: Victoria Pheasant Habitat Area is a satellite site of Snakeden Hollow State Fish and Wildlife Area located near Victoria, Illinois. Victoria Pheasant Habitat Area is approximately 2 miles Northwest of Victoria, and the Parking Area is located along Knox Road 1700 East.

Description: Victoria Pheasant Habitat Area contains 2 lakes that are both approximately 8 acres in size. They are both long, narrow strip-mine lakes that have a maximum depth of approximately 14 feet.

History and Status of the Sport Fishery: The current fish population is composed of largemouth bass predominately from 8 to 15 inches in length, bluegill up to 8.5 inches in length, redear sunfish up to 11 inches in length.

Additional Lake Information: The fishing regulations are identical to the rest of the Snakeden Hollow State Fish and Wildlife Area site:
All Fish - 2 pole and line fishing only.

Large or Smallmouth Bass: Protected Slot Length Limit from 14 to 18 inches with 3 fish daily harvest limit.

Bluegill or Redear Sunfish: 25 fish Daily Harvest Limit.

White, Black, or Hybrid Crappie: 25 Fish Daily Harvest Limit with no more than 10 fish greater than or equal to 10 inches.

Pure Muskellunge: Harvestable slot from 36 to 42 inches, and 48 inch minimum length limit with 1 fish daily harvest limit.

Channel Catfish: 6 fish daily harvest limit.

Walleye, Sauger, or Hybrid Walleye: 3 fish daily harvest limit.
